23 Jun

About two weeks ago, the renowned L.A -based artist Mike Stilkey went to Fully-Booked in my city to showcase his artworks – book sculpture and paintings, and interact with fans through book signing and Q&A.

Here are some of his awesome works:

Denis Wolf: My Hot Valentine’s Date :)

18 Feb

I don’t celebrate Valentines. Never. Ever. Even in my past romantic relationships, we never celebrated it. It is just way too commercialized. No, I’m not being bitter. I am just not mainstream that’s why.

This year’s valentine, is, just like the past years, the same regular day to me. Thank God that most of my friends, single or not didn’t take the day extra special too! But I have to say that this “valentine’s” became special for me.

As you may know, I am a football fan. And that I have a huge crush on this Filipino-German footballer playing in our local league and the national team, Denis Wolf. 🙂 And my cousins and I decided to watch their team, Global FC play on Vday. It was actually unplanned. My other cousin texted me days before about the scheduled match and invited me to watch. I declined however, because what I initially planned was go to the gym and workout. The schedule changes on the day itself after I felt very tired to hit the gym, so I decided to inform my other two cousins that we watch the game instead. (The cousin who invited initially wasn’t able to come due to her classes at the uni.)

So there, at the newly built Emperador Stadium in the city where I live (and where Denis also lives. hahaha Seriously, I love my city!), we went and watched Global oven over Nomads with the 2-1 score. Denis came later though as a sub. Prior to that, I was watching him doing warm ups on the side and gosh, how lovely is the view! Hahaha

Global vs Nomads

It ain’t the first time I saw him in person, but this is I think the closest I got to him because this new stadium is just very intimate and football fans can see the action in the pitch at close range.

I swear even though I have a crush on him, I would watch the game, even if he isn’t playing or not the one who has the ball. Reminds me how my best friend Idy would always tease me, “Eyes on the ball, not on him!” Haha Of course I do watch the game, not just him. :p But something happened last thursday. Gosh, my eyes were fixated on him, even if he was just on the side, warming up. And boy, was he gorgeous! Hahaha… My cousin even reminded me that the ball is already on the other side. Hahaha

Denis warming up during the half time

Then after the game, we, along with the other fans waited for the players to come to the audience area to give their autographs and all. Denis on the other hand started running around the pitch. We would call him but he won’t stop running. Gosh, suplado? He had an injury weeks before and I think that is the reason he was running.

After a few minutes, still running, but this time, towards to our direction, I waved my hand at him. I waved at him like the way I would when calling a cab, and without even calling his name. LOL. And he stopped! And he started walking towards us. Gosh! This is it I thought!

We immediately went to him and I said, “Hi Denis, can you sign my football and can we have a picture after?” He smiled and said, “of course, sure, sure…”

As the other group of fan girls went to where we were too, I handed him my sharpee, without even taking the lid off, LOL and showed him my football. It’s not an actual football, but a stress ball actually, designed like a football given to me by my 7-year old cousin. I told Denis that that is my football and he laughed because it is very small. LOL. We both laughed.

Denis and I. My valentine’s date! 🙂

After that we had a picture together. Gosh, I was nervous I could feel my hand shaking. Hahaha. My other girl cousin had her picture too, then another girl. But even before another fan would take her turn, I immediately told Denis, I want another picture with him with my cousin and he obliged. But this time, I grabbed the chance to put my right hand around his waist! Hahaha It is already my chance so why not do it I thought. (Chance ko na chumansing! hahaha) Gosh, even if he just finished running, boy he smelled so good. Hahaha. I thanked him and greeted him Happy Valentine’s and he said the same. 🙂 He is really nice.

We stayed a little while the other took turns to take a picture with him also. God, he was just inches away from us and even though the stadium lights were blinding, I had a chance to stare at his face closely and gosh, his eyes are just beautiful! A really good looking man! And the body… I should have told him Emma Stone’s line in the movie “Crazy, Stupid Love” – “Seriously? It’s like you’re photoshopped!” Hahaha (Lord, can I have him? Please pretty please? Hahaha)

We also went to other players and had some pictures with them and like Denis, they are also nice enough to pose with the fans.

My little football signed by Denis. 🙂

My dad picked us up after the game to have our late dinner. And because of too much excitement from the game and from meeting Denis, I forgot that I am doing the 40 Days of Water, I had Iced Tea! My bad. I blame Denis for that. Hahaha Kidding!

Btw, when best friend Idy saw the picture of Denis and I (it is actually a stolen shot), he asked, “Please tell me you didn’t exchange numbers with Denis Wolf?” Hahaha… To which I replied, “Why? What is wrong with it? I’m single, he is single. Hahaha” Of course it didn’t happen, I wish it did though. Hahaha!!!

So that was my Valentine’s night with my hot date! Hahaha

What a day! What a Valentine’s day! 🙂

Gosh, I am such a fan girl! Hahaha!!!

I am not supposed to be in Manila right now. I should be in India.

5 Feb

Well, I should be In Mumbai or Allahabad right now.

Tomorrow is my friend’s wedding in India. He told me about his big day about 6 months ago and invited me to be there as he wed his lovely bride. He said that he had to inform me earlier so that I can book flights, file for at least 2-week leave from work and save so I can be there on his special day. I know 6 months is still a short notice, considering I live in the South East, and fare is already a little expensive. But actually, he’s been inviting me to his wedding even before he got engaged. Actually years, before he got engaged.

Mehendi

Mehendi

He even sent me an invitation through email and I got overly excited seeing the colorful invitation that contains some of their photos, and info of the different ceremonies prior to the wedding (Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi) the wedding itself and the two wedding receptions in Mumbai and Allahabad. It’s a week-long celebration! No wonder he asked me to take a 2-week off from work. He said, 1 week for his wedding and another if I want to tour in some parts of India.

Sangeet

Sangeet

Of course I said Yes, with the intention of really coming over to the wedding. But months before today, I thought hard about it and after much contemplation, I decided that I had to miss it. *sighs*

There are reasons.

Now, I feel bad about it. I should be there! I can’t believe I let an opportunity to witness something wonderful, go away. I have never been to India and never been to a Hindu or any Indian wedding. I’ve only seen them in movies and I thought that attending a wedding is a great way to experience a culture, especially if it’s something different from what I am used to.

Haldi

Haldi

I always wanted to visit India. I thought that they have a rich culture and tradition that I find so fascinating. And attending one of their celebrated life events – a wedding, is a great way to immerse into their culture.

In my bucket list, I included there attending an Indian wedding. I would have crossed it by now. Sure, I can still cross it from the list someday. I could attend another Indian wedding but I guess it won’t be as special as the wedding tomorrow, because it is not my friend’s anymore.

Sad.

The Wedding Ceremony

Anyway, even if I am not there to physically witness their union and celebrate with them as they start their lives together, my heart and thoughts are with them. I wish them more blessings and God’s love to bind them together, forever.

Admiring My Mother (re-blogged for Mom’s Day!)

12 May

*This is actually a post I made one year ago and I wrote it as a birthday gift for my mom last year.  And since on Sunday it is mother’s day, I thought I’d re-blog it as a tribute to my admirable mother. I changed a few words though so it would fit to the Mother’s day occasion.  You may read the original here: “Admiring My Mother.”

~~~
Happy Mother’s Day!
I admire my Mother. She got a pretty tough job.  She may not have to address the problems of poverty like the president have to, but her ‘job’ is tough.  Maybe even one of the toughest in the world. Imagine being a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a Church Pastor to 9 churches with at least 200 or more members each, a leader, a government consultant, a counselor, and a friend to some. And all these, rolled into one.
What I specifically admire about my mother is that she’s the same person she is inside and outside our house.  Meaning to say, she doesn’t pretend or have a multiple personalities. The compassionate, patient, understanding, helpful, kind-hearted person she is outside or in the church is the same person she is to us inside our home. And I think that is  one of the traits of a true leader.
Growing up, I see how my mother shown these traits. I remember us being in the bus ride to Manila from Lipa, and on our way there was this young woman with her little brother, moaning for a severe stomach pain. Her motherly instinct kicked in. She wasn’t selfish to think that she got 3 young kids to look after to (I think my youngest sister was barely 4 years old that time) and let another person help. But she was quick to extend a hand, prayed for her and even took her to the hospital as soon as we got off the bus. She also began charity at home. Even though she is already married and have kids to support to, she, together with my father, helped her sisters and brothers fund their studies. She didn’t cease in helping them, even until now that they have their own families.
She is patient. Very patient. It will take time for her to get angry. And when she does, please hide, you wouldn’t like it. 😀 I think it’s true that when a patient person loses his/her temper, it’s going be like  World War II. I’ve seen her pissed off. And unfortunately, it was because of me. Well, sometimes because of my sisters too. 😛 You don’t want to see her mad for sure. So you better not test her patience. Like any normal person she also gets angry, whether you believe it or not. 🙂
She is super nice and super kind. And “super” is not even the right word to perfectly describe how nice and kind she is. Serving the church as the Pastor, she has encountered countless problems, both personal and church-related. People come to her for advices, sometimes even for financial help, then there are some who questioned her ways, pressured her for something, sometimes to take their sides over someone’s or influence her decisions. But she won’t let it. She won’t give in. Instead, she prays for them and asks them to pray for those who hurt them. Sometimes, when the attack to her is personal (and sometimes even below the belt), it angers me, my sisters and father, but not her. She always reminds us to be gentle, to just pray for those who hurt us and just speak blessing to them instead.  Sure, her helpfulness, kindness and patience have influenced us, but I don’t think I inherited it 100%. I am not as patient and kind as she is. Sometimes I complain to her for being super nice. If it was me, I would get even! Hahahaha…. Just kidding. 😛
She’s forgiving. Like I mentioned, she just pray for those who hurt her. She didn’t grow up in a well-off family, but she strove hard to succeed. And that means, working at her Auntie’s restaurant while studying in high school at around age 13 I think. She wakes up early in the morning to go to the market, go home and help serve and prepare the customers’ orders, then go to school (and because of that, she’s late to school most of the time) and then go home in the afternoon, help her Auntie again, do her homework after and sleep late. That was her routine everyday for at least 4 years.  She wasn’t treated well by their family too but she didn’t have any bitterness in her heart. I cried when I first heard  that story. I felt sad and furious to hear what she had to go through. But she was quick to tell us how grateful she is to her Auntie’s family because she was able to continue her studies and help her mother and siblings get out of poverty. For her, it was her stepping stone to success.
I know I hurt her also so many times in the past for being somewhat rebellious and so my sisters and my father but she didn’t quit on us, but instead she forgives us for our shortcomings and imperfections.
I could list a lot of things about how admirable my mother is. She is not perfect but I think she possesses the Christ-like character and that’s what makes her truly admirable.
On Sunday, it is Mother’s day and I couldn’t think of a better gift to my own mom but to put into writing what kind of a person she is – a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, a patient Church Pastor, a humble servant and a true Christian.
Happy Mother’s Day Mama!
And to my oldest sister too and to all moms in the world! You are guys are awesome! 🙂
10 Significant Things of My 2011 – A Year In Review
1 Jan
Like last year, I made a list of what I consider significant events in my life this year. This list is in random order.
1. New Job – After resting for about 6 months from the rat race, I joined a new company again in February 2011. It is one of the known organizations in the world- part of Top 100 Companies according to Forbes. There is no perfect organization but so far, I like my work there.
2. New Friends – Since I have a new job, that means I gained some new friends at work.
3. Philippine Football –Those who have been reading this blog and those people who knows me, are all aware that I,being a fan of the sports football, supports the Philippine Azkals – our National Football Team. Though I missed watching them live play against the hot David Beckham’s team L.A. Galaxy last December 3 when my friend backed out, I’m still glad of the development of football in this country. I wish my favourite REAL MADRID would visit Manila too. If that happens, I will not care if I will watch alone or not. I just have to be there and meet Kaka, Ronaldo, Iker and the rest of the Boys. And oh, just last December 11, when my parents were invited to our Mayor’s birthday party, they met the good looking footballer sibs – Phil and James Younghusband. Unfortunately, I didn’t go with my parents because I was busy with something else at home.
4. My Sister’s Wedding –  My baby sister just got married to her boyfriend of 5 years. Now that left me as the only single in the family. And people around can’t simply resist asking me  question –‘When’s your turn.’ Didn’t I just say, I will punch the next person who will ask me when I’m getting married? LOL
5.Family and Relatives –  My auntie who lives in the US arrived for my sister’s wedding and also to spend Christmas with us. I wasn’t able to join them in out of town trips, mostly to relatives’ place because of work but it was great seeing them when they visited at home this holiday season. A reunion indeed.
6. Touring KL This one I think is one of the highlights this year. I can now cross from my bucket list that I visited Malaysia this year. It wasn’t really in my travel plan for 2011 since I wanted to travel on my birthday in January. But because of the next significant thing in this list, I flew to Kuala Lumpur and had a great time.
7. Meeting Best Friend F–  Another one to cross in my bucket list. The reason I flew to KL last November is to meet a very good friend that I met over Skype back in early 2007. Yes, I met F a few years ago OVER SKYPE. We only met through the net, and some people around me couldn’t believe that I would actually fly to meet someone I met online for the first time and that too, meeting him in a foreign place that I haven’t been to. They think it’s crazy. But they wouldn’t understand unless they open their mind to the possibility of meeting genuinely good people online. F went to KL for a conference and we thought it would be great to meet each other in person. He is one of those online friends I have who have become part of my life. He was there to listen to my rants, laugh with me over crazy things or laugh at me too for my craziness, (LOL), and comfort me during my sadness. I remember him telling me, “If he doesn’t care, you also don’t care. Now go wash your face.” He, together with our other friend, best friend Idy has been there for me ever since. Well hopefully, I would meet Idy next. (See post about my KL trip here.)
8. Friends – I only have a few friends. In fact, I can only count them using the fingers in my hands. Just very few. And I thank the Lord every day for their lives. Life is tough but the Lord sent them to help me go through together with my family.
9. M- We talked a few times this year. Just a few times. One of those was during his birthday when I called to greet him. We were happy that day. He said he misses me a lot. I feel the same way. Unfortunately, things haven’t changed. We still can’t be together. *Sighs*
10. 2011 Birthday –  It was a mix of happiness and sadness that day. I was happy for a lot of reason, one was getting a birthday greeting from Azkals’ goalie- Niel Etheridge via twitter, greeted by close friends and love ones, and the unexpected call by M exactly on the 11th day of January (Read: 59 seconds). I was so happy and I cried at the same time. Good thing, best friend Idy was there to comfort and sang happy birthday to me to make me smile. (Idy, you’ll sing again in a few days!)
So these are some of the things that I consider significant in my 2011. I thank our good Lord Jesus Christ for his unchanging love, mercy and grace. I may have faced a lot of difficulties this year, but at the same time, I received greater blessings- both material and not. Thank you Lord for helping me get through this year and for sending the right people in my path. I pray for 2012, you will also give me your favor and grace and love. May everyone- my familyand love ones, my friends here and abroad, bloggers here at wordpress, all Filipinos and all citizens in the world may experience the Lord’s unfailing love and the showers of blessings!
Happy New Year everyone!
Kuala Lumpur Day 1 – Almost!
14 Dec
(*Note: This is the 1st installment of my recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I will be writing about my KL experience in maybe 4-5 separate posts to document my daily itinerary during the trip. Just a warning though, the posts will be really long as I want to narrate every bits of it. So relax, get some popcorn and enjoy the ride as you tour around KL though my posts. 🙂 )
(*Addie, here’s the 1st installment. As promised I will write about my entire KL escapade! More to come. :))
Nov 17, 2011 – It is my father’s birthday but I am booked to fly from Manila to KL at 10.10am. We had an advance celebration the night before I left. I woke up at 7.30am. Everything was fine. I already web-checked-in the night before, so I didn’t have to be at the airport too early and waste my precious 3 hours waiting. Thank God for the web check-in technology!  So I left at 8.30 with mom, we took a cab and off to the airport which is less than 30 minutes away from home.  There was no traffic on that sunny Thursday morning. It was a great day. Indeed it was! I arrived on time. Perfect!  At exactly 10.10am, we left Manila. Then after almost 4 hours in the air, we finally landed in LCCT in Kuala Lumpur.  F and I agreed that we’ll meet in KL Sentral instead, so after an hour bus-ride from LCCT to the city center, there he was, my dear friend F waiting for me. Finally we met in person, yes for the first time!  Things went on as planned. Excellent!
But that’s only my wishful thinking.
It didn’t happen.
Well not exactly that way.
Here’s the real story of DAY 1:
I woke up at 7.30. Everything was fine. I web checked-in the night before, so I didn’t have to be at the airport too early and waste my precious 3 hours waiting. Thank God for the web check-in technology!  So I left at 8.30 with my older sister and auntie, because my youngest sis A who wasn’t feeling well called mom and asked her to pick her up from work to go to the Makati Med’s ER. We took a cab and off to the airport which is less than 30 minutes away from home.  I was confident we will get there on time. VERY Confident. But…
BUT…
There was TRAFFIC on that sunny Thursday morning.
Yeah, a horrendous traffic that is!
Ouch.
Cars were barely moving. At first, I still can manage to exchange conversations with my sis and auntie, but not after I glanced at my watch and saw that it’s already 9am and we’re still not halfway through the airport. I kept quiet and started to plead to the Almighty to please give us a good traffic flow or lift our cab and place it directly at the airport’s drop off area.  It was a bumper to bumper situation.
 “Damn. This isn’t happening! Not on this day!” – I thought to myself. I saw some motorcycles passed by and I wanted to get off the cab and get on a motorcycle, any motorcycle! I don’t care if it’s a stranger driving, I will  ask him to take me to the airport, now! But of course I didn’t do that.
My sis out of wanting to paint a smile on my face and change the gloomy/nervous mood inside the cab, cracked some jokes and just made fun of the terrible traffic situation we were in. I think she was trying to console her baby sister (that’s me) by trying to assure me that the flight will be delayed and I will still be able to fly. Thanks ‘Ate’!
930am…. Man, boarding time is at 940… I need a miracle! I was nervous and all, and blaming myself for being so complacent, for being so hopeful that a day will come that there will be no traffic in Manila, for  not thinking ahead, for everything!
What should only take 30 minutes to the airport took us more than an hour to get there. Yes I arrived at almost 10.20am and I MISSED MY FLIGHT.
I hated myself that morning.
After learning that I indeed missed my flight, my sister told me,
 “I think I saw your plane that took off at exactly 10.10am, while we were still in the cab.”
Ouch. She opted not to tell me while we were on our way so I wouldn’t despair. But still I was in total despair after learning I missed my flight!
Well at least I am not alone. There were many of us who missed the flight including the beautiful model/make-up artist named Kharu who was supposed to be on the same flight to KL with me for their photoshoot. Well her case was worse than mine because she was stuck in traffic for like 3 hours!
I immediately sent F a text message informing him that I missed my 10am flight. He replied saying:
“Really? I’m very sorry 😦 coming with another flight? So sorry to hear 😦 why didn’t you leave home earlier?”
I explained what happened and told him I’m getting the next available flight.
So off to the service counter, I tried my luck to negotiate with the airline crew (they’re our client btw). Although I already knew that the fare I paid for that missed flight can’t be credited to the next flight because I already web checked-in and when you do that, it will be considered flown. Still, I tried my chance to convince them that it isn’t entirely my fault. (Yeah I’d like to fool myself sometimes. LOL). But to no avail. I paid for USD 140 just for that one-way flight! Ouch!  And how much did I pay for the roundtrip flight I initially booked? USD 115. And yes, that’s already a roundtrip flight from MNL-KUL-MNL! Dang!
So I thought this trip should be worth all these hassles. Well I just thought that meeting F is worth all of these.
I even thought about booking the next available flight to SG and from there I’ll either take a bus to KL or fly again because I want to be in KL as soon as possible.
The next flight was at 9pm and it will land in KL at 12.30am. Argh! The flight time I was trying to avoid! I do not want arrive at midnight because it’s going to be my first time to be in that city and I do not know my way around yet. So I asked F to please pick me up this time. And my convincing powers worked because he said ,“Ok Y, I’ll pick you up at the airport. See you soon.”
Finally, after days of Idy trying to make him feel guilty of letting a vulnerable (of course not!) woman travel alone from the airport to the city center and telling him that you actually owe her something for helping you out before with your papers. Hahaha… (Thanks Idy! LOL. Now I owe you one! :P)
And since the flight is at 9pm, I still have plenty of time, so I decided to go back home. Kharu, the model I met decided to just stay since she lives far away from the airport to wait for the 9pm flight. She said she’ll just stay in Resorts World Manila and just watch 2-3 movies to kill time.
On our way home from the airport, I’ve learned from the cab driver the reasons of me missing my flight that morning. He said that the president left that morning too for Indonesia to attend some summit and some roads were closed due to that. Of all the days, why does he have to leave the country on that same morning?!?!?! And why didn’t he just take the chopper instead? Second was, there was trailer truck that blocked the road since 4am until 9am just right outside the airport. Third reason, the SKYWAY started to charge high toll fees resulting for motorist to take another route because they don’t want to pay too much, so all cars and public transport are taking the ‘normal routes’. Yeah so those are the reasons… like I said, not entirely my fault.
I slept for a few hours and at 6pm I left for the airport. Yeah I’ve learned already, even if we live just 30 minutes away from the airport, I can’t be complacent anymore. I didn’t check-in via their website too. No way! At 630pm we were already at the airport. See, we are that close, traffic is really the culprit.
At 9pm, we left Manila. Finally! 3 and a half hours later, I am already in KL. This is it. At last I arrived! I sent F a message telling him that we just landed and also sent a text message back home that I arrived in KL safe and sound. I passed through the immigration and I was given a tourist visa good for a month, then proceeded to take my luggage. But before that I saw the money changer and exchange the dollars I have. After that I was already walking towards the exit when I remember that I haven’t collected my luggage yet so I went back and looked for it which took a while. I headed through the exit with my mind completely consumed of something I don’t remember. As I walked towards the exit, I heard a familiar voice calling my name:
“Y! Y! Y!”
And I saw a tall and gorgeous man waving and smiling at me. It was F!  I was stunned because I actually forgot that someone was waiting for me. LOL. I already forgot that he’s going to pick me up. I don’t know but my mind was focused on something I really don’t remember at all.
I walked to where he was. I don’t remember if I said thank you first for picking me up or saying finally we’ve met. He told me I was the last person to get out and he was already asking people if they were on the same Manila flight to assure that my plane already landed. LOL. Well I wasn’t the last, there were still a few people inside.
He then instructed me to buy our bus tickets to KL Sentral because he is not allowed to get in to buy. He was going to give me some Ringgit to buy our tickets but I told him, I already have and I will pay for it since he picked me up. He just took my luggage and waited for a few minutes. When I turned around and walked towards him, I started to feel the excitement of being in KL and also meeting him for the first time.  We hugged and kissed (Idy if you are reading this post, please take note that it’s just a cheek to cheek kind of thing. Nothing to worry, I did not harass our friend. LOL.) Instantly, we clicked. It didn’t feel like it was our first meeting in person. Yup, it’s just like seeing an old friend after a long time. That’s how it feels. We didn’t have an awkward moment I think. We were already at ease and were talking non-stop on our way to KL Sentral. And he was nice enough to carry my luggage and made sure that I was sitting comfortably in the bus.  Awww… how sweet!
He then inquired how in the world I missed the flight. LOL. And he was teasing and laughing at me because he knows that I have been monitoring the airline’s website for a few weeks to make sure I get to avail of the promo, and then I will just miss it and pay more for another one.  When he asked how much I paid for the new booking, I told him to please don’t ask me because I don’t want to remember how much paid.  Haha…
After an hour or so we reached KL Sentral and took a cab going to our hostel in Bukit Bintang. Finally. The hostel was still alive at 2am and people were kind of partying. Pat, one of the hostel staff assisted me and  thanked F for helping me out. He didn’t know we are friends and thought that F was just helping some random stranger carry her luggage. LOL. F explained that we are friends, but quickly explained that he also help others, strangers or not.  Pat inquired why I arrived at 2am when I was supposed to arrive at 3pm as I stated in my booking. I told him the unfortunate thing that happened.
As F promised me and Idy that he will look after me to ensure the safety of the vulnerable woman… LOL… he took my luggage and walked me all  the way to my bedroom in the 3rd floor. He opened the door for me and  even checked the room before I get in to assure me it’s safe. Hahaha… Then he showed me the male dorm in the 2nd floor where he was staying.
We called it a day after that and agreed to get up late the next day.  🙂
Real Madrid to come to Manila?
18 Oct
Okay, this is a quick one.
Well, last month Ida from OMF told me about the possibility of my favorite football team, Real Madrid to come to Manila. And I read it from the news again today. The super rich Filipino businessman Manny Pangilinan (ahem, uncle Manny? LOL) is currently in the talks and still ironing things out for the REAL MADRID tour to my very own Philippines! OMG!  I will be the happiest person in Manila if the happens! haha 😀
Real Madrid Campeon Copa Del Rey 2011 (google images)
It will be a dream come true to meet my favorite footballer ever – Ricardo Kaka! And Cristiano Ronaldo and Iker Casillas and the whole team. Wow, how cool is that. And I certainly won’t miss that chance if that plan pushes through.  I won’t let it pass. So I sincerely hope and pray that it will happen.  🙂 I’m super excited!
